R&R Academy Congres

During a two day congress, curriculum developers from France, UK, Germany, Hungary and the Netherlands will be formulating a concept curriculum for the Roots & Routes Academy. Best practice presentations will be held by amongst others Carlo balemas of the Rotterdam Brass School, Bart Gruson (research and development officer @ Codarts Institute of the Arts), Ben Bergmans (artistic manager bachelor higher vocational training dance teacher @ Codarts). Special guest Simon Stromberg of the Kulturskolan (Stockholm, Sweden) will give a lecture about the concept of Digitales and how they can be used in informal educational settings. The concept curriculum that will be developed during this congress, will be tested in the R&R Summer Academy that will be held in summer 2009 and will be aimed at transmitting new teaching methods to youngsters and professional coaches.
