Welcome to ROOTS&ROUTES TV in Solingen, the international video community for youth, culture, music, lifestyle and cultural diversity.
With reports about urban culture Solingen and events in our town.
Young people from Solingen with different cultural roots get together in our workshops and young journalist groups, producing creative products and a web-TV magazine on our urban culture and cultural diversity in our everyday life in Solingen.
The results are presented on this website and at annual presentation events in Solingen.
Our project empowers the participants to do media productions on a high level and to communicate our wishes and demands to the public in Solingen and all over the world.
Solingen is called Rockcity No.1 and we have about 150 Rockbands checkin around.
But also we had a very interesting Hip-Hop Event called "From Hood to Hood", which is documented on this site. Take a look as well on the annual activities of the "Youth Cultural Festival", which is a great event for Solingen youth.
