The emotions are contained in bodies and are expressed through gestures, -sometimes involuntary movements of lips, eyes, hands-. Thoughts are contained in each person and are transmitted through language. Our actions are contained within the mechanics of a city. The images and sounds are contained in a video camera or a screen, and are also reproduces, shows, and transmits to the brain -like a container- of someone else. The confusion often happens when a plurality of languages and a variety of dimensions, -temporal, spatial and social- mix in the unknown city: getting lost in traffic, dissolving into the night streets, like an echo on the stairs, transporting us since underground space, until the public square with open sky.
People laugh and worry, but do not laugh or worry about the same things. The subway is the same place, but not means the same to the men sitting there, like for the girl who walks around them. We heard phrases, saying things, which repeatedly, change of intention and meaning.
Still, in the plurality of ideas, languages, backgrounds, emotions and bodies, we are all contained in this planet under the same rules and forms of expression.
